Following the recent news of a cyber security incident at Funky Pigeon, we thought it’d be a good time to talk about security at Wuzci. When you shop online for greetings cards, you can share a lot of personal details about both you and your loved ones. Therefore, we understand how important it is to keep those details protected. Here are some of the measures we have in place:
1. Using secure & accredited hosting
All of our data and systems are hosted on globally recognised information security controls frameworks (AICPA SOC2 Type II and SOC 3 Type II). This means all of your addresses, occasions and contact details are saved securely, protected by world-class data protection.
2. Auditing physical data centres regularly
Our physical data centres are regularly audited by independent compliance specialists, meaning we can always make sure your data protection is up to date and secure. It currently holds SOC 1, 2 & 3, ISO 271001 and PCI-DSS certifications.
3. Ensuring secure payment detail protection
Your bank or payment details are never stored with Wuzci directly. However you choose to pay, your bank details are only ever stored with third parties Paypal or Stripe.
4. Regularly running security tests on our site
We perform regular penetration tests on the Wuzci website and its systems to make sure there are no gaps or weaknesses that could be exploited by cybercriminals.
