Hi my name is Sally, I am a freelance designer and Illustrator based in my mini micro studio in Standish in the North West where I get lost in the world of colourful crazy patterns, fun text and characters (a bit like the Bedknobs and Broomsticks film).
I always enjoyed using a spare bog roll, a bit of PVA or anything crafty and messy to create a masterpiece to palm off onto people and call a gift growing up. I still have a lot of love for using paints, inks and general craftiness to scan, manipulate digitally and use to create the basis of a lot of designs.
Many ideas and inspiration have been taken from places I've traveled to, characters I know or have met.
I have zillions of ideas and varied styles bursting to get out, each design is made with love. I hope you enjoy them and they make you and your recipient smile.
