Surface Designer Heather Bareham, founder of Patternation, graduated from Teesside University with a degree in Textiles & Surface Design in 2010. Based in a studio in the picturesque seaside town of Saltburn-By-The Sea in the north east of England, she loves to create patterns for a range of homeware, stationery and gifts and is obsessed with papercutting. All of Heather’s designs originate from paper cut works which she carefully crafts by hand. Her creations are inspired by art and the world around her, from nature and blooming flowers to decorative ceramic patterns, tiles and mosaics.
